MP School Education Crisis: No MP District in Top 200 of Ministry of Education’s PGI-D 2025-26 Report

MP PGI-D 2025-26 Report: The Ministry of Education’s Performance Grading Index for Districts (PGI-D) 2025-26 report reveals that not a single district from Madhya Pradesh has secured a place among India’s top 200 districts. Districts were assessed across six key parameters, including learning outcomes, access, teacher availability, school infrastructure and facilities, safety and child protection, and digital learning. The report highlights significant gaps in school education performance across Madhya Pradesh, with the state’s best-performing district scoring only 333 out of 600 points.
