The MP government's "One Campus, One School" initiative and the Sandipani scheme merger have triggered a severe education crisis across Madhya Pradesh, leaving thousands of students struggling with excessive commuting distances and unsafe routes. According to a Dainik Bhaskar ground report, more than six government schools are shutting down daily in Madhya Pradesh. Over the past year, 2,426 schools have closed down—accounting for more than half of the 4,791 government school closures nationwide.
